Telephone line down: on-going

Following the high winds of 6th February, we have had no working telephone line as of 7th February. We have, until today (12th February) been able to see the number calling on the phone screen when it rings, but have not been able to answer. We have been jotting the number down and returning calls, but we apologise for the inconvenience this has caused!

Having spoken with our provider this morning, we understand that there is a major fault on the line, for which BT Open Reach have requested planning permission from Sevenoaks Council for a dig. This application has been submitted this morning, but will take a bare minimum of 5 days to be approved, plus time thereafter to complete the dig and hopefully fix the problem.

We have arranged for all calls to be diverted to our mobile number, 07443 929395. This does mean that there are likely to be busy periods and the phone may be engaged. We politely request that you send a text message or e-mail where possible, because we are not sure whether voice messages will also be sent through to our mobile, or loss in the ether of our landline communications.

Please do make use of our on-line booking facility to book appointments – simply click the tab on our home page or our contact page and fill in the details. You will need your payment card at hand to book on-line. You can also send us an enquiry via our contact page by filling in the form on the page. This comes through to us as an e-mail, so we can answer queries and book appointments via this method, too.

To request a repeat prescription, please go to our prescriptions page and fill in the details of what your pet needs. We will contact you to let you know when the prescription is ready to collect, or if we need to clarify any details or see your pet.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by our phone line being out of action. We are at the mercy of BT Open Reach and are hoping for a speedy fix! We are grateful for you bearing with us during this rather trying period.
