Is it an emergency?
It’s an emergency if your pet is:
- struggling to breathe and turning blue
- choking
- bleeding heavily
- having a seizure
- collapsed, unconscious or unresponsive
- experiencing severe trauma e.g. from a road traffic accident or falling from a height
- unable to pass urine despite constant attempts and is in severe pain or collapsed
- experiencing similar conditions that pose an immediate threat to life
