DID YOU KNOW?

Brumation in reptiles is not the same as hibernation in mammals! Hibernation is a dormant state where the animal does not eat, drink or move around. Brumation is a period of dormancy where the body slows down completely. Animals may drink and move around whilst brumating!

Blepharospasm

Abnormal closing of the eyelids, or squinting from muscle spasm. Often associated with ocular injury or pain.
